In terms of its mission, YOURARTBEAT is much more than just an interest group or an exhibition organizer. We serve as a thematic hub within a vibrant network of people who also utilize modern communication technologies.
Art has the power to connect all areas of interest and make them visible, audible, and tangible.
This benefits not only our artists but also the audience and society as a whole.
2025 was the Year of the Voice, featuring an event at the Kiezraum/Dragonerareal in Kreuzberg. The performances centered on the voice. A five-member curatorial team selected the artists’ contributions.
In 2026, the focus is on sustainability. Yvonne Michalik is curating a three-month exhibition at the Neukölln Arcaden. “Trash Studies”: artists can transform plastic waste into art and much more. Yvonne will continue to present the program (including here on this blog).
On May 8, a related event, “Biodiversity, Sustainability, and AI“, organized by our partner ndi-berlin, will take place at the Malzfabrik. The Malzfabrik is a vibrant hub in southern Berlin dedicated to sustainability and art.
Art is making a big impact this year, especially with YOURARTBEAT.
